Dilworth restaurants offer a plethora of diverse cuisines, while locally owned shops display crafts and art from around the world. We opened Dilworth Neighborhood Grille in the Historic Cavalaris Village located on East Morehead Street in Charlotte, NC in 2004. What started as an idea for a small family restaurant/bar quickly became a hot gathering spot for all things Charlotte.

Let me tell you, it was my first time there but it will not be my last. Good food and even better drinks. Only tried one of the pizzas, so I need to try other things but I'm confident the food will always be good. Went for lunch one day by myself.

Paper Skyscraper carries a wide variety of books, stationery, souvenirs and home goods, while CLT Find has curated products from Charlotte’s best artisans and crafters. Nestled in the heart of Dilworth is Latta Park, a 31-acre urban greenspace featuring basketball courts, nature paths and a children's playground with seasonal splash pad. Latta Park is prime picnic territory, surrounded by lovely examples of the neighborhood’s classic bungalows and thoughtful landscaping. Each September, one of Charlotte’s largest cultural festivals takes place in the heart of Dilworth.
Our unique space allows us to host multiple, large events in addition to our everyday lunch and dining hours. Dilworth offers a wide variety of palate pleasers, with many restaurants recognizing diners’ preference for outdoor patio dining to appreciate the historic views. Sadly we were at the DNG to watch the Jets lose but at least we had incredible food and unbelievable service. She was getting all of our drinks in such a quick fashion and there was a lot of us.
We had steak nachos and the wings, both incredible. Cant wait to go back to watch the Jets lose again. My husband and I recommend everything! We love the atmosphere and the food is incredibly tasty. We come for the food and to watch sporting events.
The neighborhood boasts over 1,000 structures designated as historically significant, including many craftsman homes and businesses tucked amongst its network of streets. The Dilworth Community Association hosts a highly anticipated Home Tour each autumn with a variety of homes and businesses welcoming patrons since 1972. This neighborhood mainstay has a patio and flat screen TVs that pair well with good food and drink specials on game days. The bar even has a shuttle bring fans to cheer on the Panthers in person.
My sister had the Buffalo chicken blue cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries that was outstanding as well. Great place to go have a great meal and a great atmosphere. Great grille and tavern with a full bar and incredible menu. Plan on going back and highly recommend the restaurant. Established in 1890, Dilworth was Charlotte’s very first suburb and received recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
Reallyyy good New Castle beer cheese. Chicken nachos were stacked with ingredients- it took me 3 more times to finish them. Staff made me feel so comfortable. Have had the chicken pita before too which was fantastic. It always comes hot and is packaged really well. I love the chicken quesadillas and for an appetizer the Spinach & artichoke dip is amazing!
If you are a Steeler fan this is the best place in Charlotte to watch the game as many as 150 fans in the downstairs room and more of us upstairs at the bar. Freedom Park is Charlotte’s most popular park, and its northeast entrance skims the edge of Dilworth. Conveniently located on this end of the park are tennis and volleyball courts, baseball fields and the Panthers NFL Play 60 Challenge Course. The Little Sugar Creek Greenway allows visitors to stroll and bike their way from Dilworth to Myers Park via the southern section of Freedom Park. The food and service was great I had the build your own salad. It was outstandingly FRESH everything was crispy.
